Kevin’s practice focuses on patent prosecution, client counseling and litigation support, mainly in the electrical and mechanical arts. He has experience with numerous technologies such as microprocessors, wireless technologies, semiconductor packaging, electro-optical components and systems, software, internet related technologies, medical devices, food processing and packaging, excavation equipment, earthquake related equipment, gaming machines and gaming processes. Prior to beginning his career in the area of intellectual property law, Kevin worked as an engineer at Tektronix in Portland, Oregon, designing circuit boards and associated manufacturing processes for the company’s Engineering Workstation Division. Kevin is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), and has been involved in many sections of the association, including the Intellectual Property and the Law and Technology sections. He is also a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA). Kevin serves on the Salvation Army Portland Metro Advisory Board, as well as the Salvation Army’s White Shield Advisory Council and the Salvation Army’s Programs and Services Committee.
