Mike Merkelbach is a highly accomplished and dedicated attorney in the patent practice group with an exceptional track record in the field of intellectual property. Prior to attending law school, Mike served in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Machinist’s Mate for eleven years. He had the opportunity to operate both submarine and surface ship nuclear power plants while in the Navy giving him a unique perspective and insight to efficiently prosecute applications in these technology fields.      

Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, playing guitar, spending time with his family and friends, and watching as many Dodger games as he can.
