Aaron F. Bourgeois is a registered patent attorney with more than 15 years of experience. His practice focuses on patent procurement and counseling clients of all sizes on a broad range of intellectual property matters.  He has aided clients in obtaining intellectual property protection in computer software and hardware, privacy protection and compliance systems, audio/video augmentation, telecommunications, mechanical and electrical systems, autonomous vehicles, wearable computing systems, firearms, and toys and games. He also conducts patent infringement, patent validity studies, and patent and technology analysis in support of litigation and licensing.

Prior to practicing patent law, Aaron has spent over a decade in information and communication technology industry, including more than seven years at a major telecommunications company as a senior member of a team responsible for the highest level of operational engineering. Additionally, Aaron was a software developer for a start-up company for over three years, where he served in a wide variety of roles. This distinct industry perspective allows him to understand the requirements of businesses and clients of all sizes, from large corporations to small start-ups and individual inventors.
