Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney - Atlanta, Georgia

ATTORNEY CANDIDATES: 1-3 years of IP litigation experience. Applicants should have excellent legal research and writing skills, as well as solid litigation experience including drafting pleadings and memorandums. The ideal candidate will be ready for career advancement by having direct contact with important clients, taking and defending depositions, and arguing motions on complex matters. The successful applicant will have aptitude and willingness to support the business development efforts of the IP Litigation group. USPTO registration (or the ability to sit for the exam) is strongly preferred.

Client Services Coordinator - Spokane, Washington

Lee & Hayes, a national intellectual property (IP) law firm with an international client-base, is seeking an experienced administrative support person for its Spokane, Washington office.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Oversight and management of a high-volume email account.
  • Preparing twice-daily (or more) required all-firm emails.
  • General client maintenance in the system for all incoming or outgoing clients.
  • Preparing letters to clients on behalf of attorneys.
  • Serving as the liaison between attorneys, paralegals, and co-departments to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Monitoring and maintaining weekly reports.
  • Receiving and processing new client cold call inquiries.
  • Using logic and critical thinking to asses a variety of situations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidates are accurate, detailed, organized, articulate, service-oriented and flexible. Prior experience as an administrative assistant in a service and support role is beneficial.  Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft® Office, are required.  The following skills are recommended:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years law firm or professional services experience.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to recognize and maintain confidentiality as needed.
  • Flexibility in responding quickly and positively to shifting priorities as the occur.
