Open Staff Positions

IT Support Technician - Spokane, Washington

The IT Support Technician provides front line IT support to all Lee & Hayes offices and employees under the direction of the Service Manager. They are responsible for assisting employees with all desktop hardware and software support. The IT Support Technician is required to work across departments and firm offices to enrich customer experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Assists in providing direct support with users for desktop hardware and software issues.
  • Installations and upgrades software on personal computers.
  • Independently identify and resolve less complex problems immediately.  Identify and promptly forward more complex problems to appropriate team members.
  • Proactively recognize, research, isolate, and resolve actionable tickets.
  • Creates, maintains, and modifies all employee phone systems adds, removes, and changes.
  • Log problems into the ticket management system from live calls, email, and in person discussions.
  • Maintain current knowledge of standard supported technology. 
  • Proactively seek information to increase knowledge with the assistance of the larger IT team.
  • Suggest ideas for improving user relationships.  Recognize changing user needs and suggest appropriate action.
  • Assist in the maintenance of IT documentation and ticket management system.  Verify the accuracy and completeness of documentation.
  • Send notification messages to the appropriate users regarding system problems and maintenance.
  • Maintain distribution lists.
  • Assist with product testing.
  • Collaborate with members of the IT team to meet department objectives.
  • Assist with conference room technology setups including computers, video conferencing equipment, and conference call equipment.
  • Build and configure computers for new and existing employees along with tracking of company assets.
  • Relocating IT equipment where necessary.
  • Set up network and database accounts.
  • Arrange, set up and monitor video teleconferencing meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical degree or 1-3 years’ experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including phone etiquette, are required.
  • Requires the ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete under time constraints.
  • Must be able to consistently provide accurate and detail-oriented work products.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to help others and provide the highest quality of service while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
  • Ability to lift and carry computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Website and Social Media Specialist- Spokane, Washington

Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, the Website and Social Media Specialist will be responsible for creating and implementing internal and external digital media communications through integrated use of the Firm’s website, blogs, social media, videos, and other communication and marketing tools.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Content Development/Writing Projects – Draft/edit marketing collateral, web content, news postings to the website, practice content, press releases, letters, event invitations, client alerts, lawyer biographies and other collateral as needed.   

  • Surveys/Rankings – Assist with firm survey/rankings submissions. Work with Communications Manager and attorneys to draft and refine content.
  • Website/Social Media – Update and maintain web content (Internet and Intranet sites), including attorney bios, articles, events/news items. Coordinate photography/new attorney bios and promotion. Assist in drafting, posting and management of messaging for social media marketing channels (Twitter and LinkedIn).
  • Event Management – Assist with start-to-finish event management and associated business development efforts in respective practice groups. 
  • RFPs/Proposals – Assist Marketing Manager with RFP process.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Communications, Marketing or the equivalent.  
  • High level of proficiency and advanced skills in utilizing Adobe Creative Suite, social media and web editing software, and MS Office Suite.
  • Must have excellent oral/written communication skills and be comfortable effectively interfacing, with all levels of firm management, attorneys and staff. 

  • Superior writing skills and attention to detail to effectively draft, proofread and capture what attorneys are trying to communicate. Knowledge of the AP Style Guide desired.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and client service skills. Ability to respond to rapidly changing conditions and work in a deadline-driven environment.
