Cheryl advises clients on intellectual property (IP) strategies, including IP portfolio development, strategic and competitive analysis of IP assets, and the commercialization of IP. Cheryl’s technical expertise includes electrical and mechanical inventions. Prior to joining Lee & Hayes, Cheryl served as the founder, CEO, and Chairman of Article One Partners. Article One Partners crowdsources requests for patent research to its global community. AOP research is distributed globally online and to 30,000 registered scientists and technologists across 170 countries. AOP has become the world’s largest IP research community. While at Article One Partners, Cheryl was invited to the White House, as one of the top 50 most innovative CEOS in the United States, to contribute to a forum on improving customer service.

Before Article One, Cheryl practiced as a patent attorney and advocated before the USPTO. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and has been published across brand media. Cheryl is a named inventor on three issued U.S. patents, and eight pending patent applications.
