Libby counsels multi-national companies and startup companies regarding patents, trademarks, and copyrights, IP enforcement, and other areas of intellectual property to develop and maintain meaningful intellectual property portfolios. As a member of Lee & Hayes’ patent group, she prepares and prosecutes patent applications in a variety of areas including computer related technologies, mechanical engineering, and fashion. Libby is also a member of the firm’s trademark group. As a member of Lee & Hayes’ trademark group, Libby prepares and prosecutes trademark applications and assists clients with enforcing their trademarks rights. While attending law school, Libby clerked for the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. Additionally, Libby was a member of the Gonzaga Law Review and participated on Gonzaga University School of Law’s Saul Lefkowitz trademark moot court team. Libby also earned CALI Awards of Excellence for the top grade in the following classes at Gonzaga University School of Law: intellectual property, patent prosecution and litigation, advanced trademark, secured transactions, trusts & wills, and business associations.
