Ty Taitch

Ty works with clients on patent preparation and prosecution, specializing in software and hardware applications.  Along these lines he also has experience preparing and prosecuting mechanical technologies including medical devices.

Prior to Lee & Hayes Ty spent over 14 years as a Network Design Engineer.  He began his career with U.S. West Communications as a Network Design Engineer, where he designed outside plant data circuits.  Within three years he was supervising 25 network technicians.  Ty moved on to work as a Research and Design Engineer at Northern Technologies creating, designing, and testing surge protection products for AC and DC application.   He also worked as a Network Design Engineer for a telecommunications company designing and reinforcing fiber and copper cables for new homes and businesses.  Through his work with these various companies, Ty has led teams responsible for implementing new technologies and training team members to facilitate the growth of those new technologies. 

Ty is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and enjoys snow skiing and fishing with his family.
