Rob is an experienced patent attorney and software developer. He combines his experience in these domains to counsel clients and assist them in obtaining patent protection for their innovations.
His expertise includes proficiencies in wireless networking, mobile telephony, network security, e-commerce, digital media, virtualization, virtual machines, imaging, search engines, resource management, code optimization, web services, and mechanical and medical devices.
Prior to law school, Rob worked at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, Washington as a Web Applications Programmer, designing and developing internal websites, presenting the websites to key laboratory personnel, and managing projects.
While obtaining his undergraduate degree, Rob interned for Applied Microsystems Corporation in Redmond, Washington, where he developed a socket-based utility to communicate between embedded devices and web browsers. Additionally, he interned at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, where he participated in the development of the Critical Infrastructure Protection and Analysis Laboratory by analyzing numerous computer security exploits.
