Michael has working knowledge of the patent laws of the European Patent Convention, Patent Cooperation Treaty, as well as the patent laws of China, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan, which provides a deep resource of solutions to the Lee & Hayes clients.
Prior to joining Lee & Hayes, Michael worked in-house with Molecular Imprints, Inc. to develop and manage their domestic and foreign patent portfolio. His areas of emphasis include imprint lithography, nanotechnology, hard disk drives, semiconductor fabrication, and mechanical systems. In addition to patent preparation and prosecution, he also has experience conducting patentability search reports.
