Kayla’s strengths include computer application development experience and a strong background in science and technology. Kayla has over eight years of experience as a patent agent. Her expertise resides in computer software, media systems, Internet-related technologies, communication technologies, mathematical algorithm applications, and client-server database systems.
Prior to joining Lee & Hayes, Kayla spent several years working as a research scientist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, designing and developing database systems to support scientific work being done at the laboratory. Kayla also worked for Tracker Business Systems, designing and developing a specialized medical billing application.
At Lee & Hayes, Kayla is the Deputy Director of Patent Portfolio Development.
