John draws from years of experience to deliver quality reviews and revisions to patent applications in the prosecution phase for our clients. John's wide range of technical expertise includes computer software, terrestrial, airborne and space based communication systems, GPS applications and neural networks. He was a member of a NASA Space Shuttle team to study space based ground surveillance equipment and has experience designing neural networks by incorporating genetic algorithm training used for image processing, pattern recognition, and stock market predictions.
Prior to joining Lee & Hayes, John was a Project Manager and Lead Developer at Lucent Technologies and Bell Laboratories and a Project Manager for Operation Support System (OSS) deployment within the AT&T telecommunications network. He was also responsible for the analysis and design of terrestrial, airborne, and space based military communication systems which led to his service with NASA where he evaluated the feasibility of the Global Positioning System (GPS) for military applications and conducted analysis of spread spectrum and millimeter wave communication systems in hostile electronic jamming environments.
