Jacob assists clients by drafting and prosecuting patent applications. His expertise is in computer software and network related technology but also has experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications relating to mechanical and electrical devices.
Prior to joining the firm, Jacob worked over 2 years as an Patent Examiner at the United States Patent & Trademark Office, where he examined U.S. and PCT patent applications related to printing, scanning, faxing, network communications and peripheral device drivers. As a Patent Examiner, Jacob has conducted extensive and thorough searches of all global patent databases.
