Elliott has a diverse background in bioscience and environmental science, as well as patent experience in mechanical devices, electromechanical devices, chemical processes, and computer-related technologies. Prior to his career in intellectual property law, Elliott performed laboratory research and data analysis at the Department of Microbiology and the Department of Environmental Health at the University of Washington. Elliott is the second author of two journal articles published in Toxicology Letters and the Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health. Additionally, Elliott has previous legal experience with general civil litigation, criminal defense, consumer protection law, and government regulation in the telecommunication industry.
