David's technical expertise includes mechanical and medical devices and he has researched topics such as consumer privacy issues related to the use of RFID tag databases, and the legal issues of digital signatures in cyberspace.
Prior to joining Lee & Hayes, David was an associate at Garrison & Associates, PS in Seattle, and prior to that worked with Quantum Intellectual Property Services in Bellevue, WA. While pursing his LLM, he externed with the patent litigation group at Dorsey and Whitney in Seattle, WA and also with The Berkeley Law and Technology Group in Bellevue, WA and finally with Digital Ventures at the University of Washington. He was also honored with the Oregon State Bar Public Honors Fellowship while he was working towards his JD at the Willamette University College of Law.
