Dan graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law in May 2009 and is excited to develop his business transactional practice at Lee & Hayes. While in law school, Dan was Editor-in-Chief of Gonzaga Law Review and clerked for a semester with The Honorable Fred Van Sickle in Federal District Court. Dan worked in Gonzaga’s Transactional Business Law Clinic and was a summer associate at Lukins & Annis, P.S. where he focused on real estate transactions, business entity formation and agreements, secured transactions, estate planning, easements, business financing transactions, and buy/sell agreements. Dan also spent a summer working for Carney Badley Spellman, P.S. in Seattle where he gained experience in a wide variety of legal areas from civil litigation, arbitration, and mediation to contract negotiations and drafting.
As an undergrad student at Gonzaga University, Dan was a member of the Hogan Entrepreneurial Leadership Program and also worked as a student intern for ConoverBond Development in Spokane. During his senior year, Dan was the Operations Manager of Gonzaga’s New Venture Lab. It was while working in the New Venture Lab that Dan gained a passion for working with small businesses, a passion that led him into the practice of law.
