With a background as a professional electrical engineer, Dan brings considerable technical experience.
His expertise includes proficiencies in Internet techniques and protocols, network communications, network security, cryptography, data compression, virtual memory techniques, smart cards, operating system components, music sequencing and computer generation of music, electronic circuits, microprocessors and related components, logic and memory devices, programmable logic hardware, and other computer-related technologies.
Dan founded Lee & Hayes in 1994 and co-authored Intellectual Property for the Internet in 1997.
Prior to practicing law, Dan worked five years as an electrical engineer designing hardware and software for computer-based automation projects.
