Strategic Advisor - SpokaneArt is best known for his leadership as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Red Lion Hotels Corporation from 2003 to 2008. As a financial expert, he was the Executive Vice President and CFO during RLH’s initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange in 1998. When he retired in 2008, Red Lion had 52 hotels located in eight states and one Canadian province. Art is a visionary leader with strong financial and operational expertise who was integral to Red Lion’s growth during his 27 year history with the company. Art developed, acquired and grew many of the region’s technology, entertainment, manufacturing, and real estate businesses such as: TicketsWest, which is in 16 states; WestCoast Entertainment; Inland Northwest’s Dairies, manufacturer and distributor of milk products; over 90 hotel, retail and office buildings; as well as several other very diverse business ventures.
Art is one of the most highly respected business leaders in the Spokane region. He will provide strategic consulting and business-development services to Lee & Hayes as it continues to grow and develop new and innovative businesses in the intellectual-property space.
