Rob Hartman

Rob Hartman is a partner in Lee & Hayes’ Spokane office and is the firm’s CEO. Rob’s patent practice focuses on the well thought out development and management of intellectual property portfolios according to each client’s unique strategies and market positions. In addition to developing and managing portfolios, he assists clients in crafting strategies for achieving their business objectives with use of their intellectual property assets.

Rob’s practice has a holistic approach, and he has extensive experience interfacing and strategizing across different groups within a client’s company such as legal counsel, engineers, accounting and marketing departments, and the like. With this experience, he thoroughly understands each group’s needs and how to best utilize the client’s intellectual property assets to meet these needs in an integrated plan.

Rob has proficient experience drafting and prosecuting patents in a wide array of technologies including computer software, hardware, architecture, consumer electronics, e-commercetechnologies, networking software and hardware, telecommunications, electro-mechanical devices, financial products, business methods, and internet-related technologies. He uses his experience with these technologies to strategically support his client’s intellectual property portfolio and needs.
