Lee & Hayes Pumps Up Austin Office

Patent law firm Lee & Hayes has hired four new employees to its Austin office.
The Spokane, Wash.-based firm, which specializes in patent preparation and prosecution and counts Microsoft Corp. as its biggest client, this month moved its Austin office into new space more than triple the old size as it continues to add lawyers and staff. The firm went from 1,800 square feet on the ninth floor of the Tower of the Hills office building on Research Boulevard to 6,000 square feet on the fourth floor of the same building.
The new employees are patent attorneys Robert Villhard, Margaret Anderson, and Martin Wojcik, and technical specialist Felicito Guiyab.
The Austin office opened in June with three lawyers, and now has a total of 6 lawyers and 9 employees.
