April 30, 2007—Beijing, CHINA - Lewis Lee lectures at two law schools in China
Lewis Lee was invited to lecture at two law schools on a recent trip to Beijing.
Fellow Lee & Hayes attorney, Zeming Gao, also attended and served as a translator.
On the evening of April 15th, Lewis spoke at the law school of Beijing University
(Peking University) where the primary audience consisted of current law students and faculty. The following evening he
presented at the law school of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL).
Both law schools are among the commonly recognized top-three law schools
in China. At CUPL, Professor Zhu Zhang, the head of The Center of Intellectual Property
Law of CUPL, presided over the event presentations. Professor Zhang is a well known
expert on IP laws in China. Mr. Lee's and Mr. Gao's visit highlights the emerging
IP market in China.
